The Walkin Mike Wolk Jazz Band is an established Charleston group that has been satisfying customers in the Carolinas and Georgia for many years. Mike is a pianist/vocalist with 10 years of formal study, well versed in many jazz, blues and popular styles spanning 100 years of American music. We generally work as a trio (acoustic bass and drums), but adjust this to meet the needs of the job, changing bass for guitar or adding horns and or reeds(trumpet, sax, trombone, clarinet). Mike can also appear as a solo performer. He has appeared in the Charleston Spoleto Festival solo and with Lady Chablis, The North Charleston Arts Festival (2007), The Lowcountry Blues Festival and other prominent festivals in the Southeast. We have played for weddings, clubs, restaurants, fashion shows, fraternity reunions and just about any event imaginable. We usually travel within a 300 mile radius.
