The Yacht Club
This brand of rock is a highly polished soft rock that emanated from Southern California during the late 70's and early 80's. It’s smooth, mellow music that early yuppies enjoyed while sipping champagne and throwing elaborate parties on their yachts. Stylistic traits of this Rock include clean vocals, and a focus on light, catchy melodies with sounds of smooth soul, smooth jazz, R&B, funk, and disco. CHARLESTON'S PREMIER SMOOTH ROCK EVENT BAND THE YACHT CLUB, adds a little tempo and grit to these classics, while keeping the melodies intact. The fans will have a blast joining in on the fun, participating with THE YACHT CLUB at the show. The band will be dressed in their yuppie attire , while the Captain will be in his dinner jacket and Captain's hat worn by the 70's & 80's harbor goers. Come set sail!
