Hungry Monks
The Hungry Monks are an acoustic string band featuring guitar, mandolin, fiddle, bass, and voice. The Hungry Monks perform traditional Celtic and American folk music. From Appalachian fiddle tunes to Irish ballads and American blues and standards, The Hungry Monks combine a sense of improvisational exploration with precision instrumental and vocal expertise to produce a sound that is both formal and fun. The Hungry Monks are equally at home playing for weddings and Bluegrass festivals.
