The Cubes
Dave and Lynda D’Amelio came to Charleston in 2011. After playing as a duo, they formed THE CUBES in 2013. Dave began playing piano at age 5, moved to guitar at 17, and took up the bass at age 30. He started playing in cover and tribute bands back in PA, and now sings, plays guitar and keys with THE CUBES. Lynda hails from the NorthEast. This singer blends country, folk, rock, and jazz to her vocal stylings. Lynda also plays percussion and guitar. With her experience in theatre and dance, Lynda puts on a show. Randy Brown , a Michigan native, started playing guitar at age 10 and bass at age 12. He played his first gig at age 13. After arriving in Charleston in 2001, Randy has played in many of Charleston’s top bands. He plays bass, guitar, keys, and sings lead and harmony for THE CUBES. Tim Gorman, from Berkeley, CA, started playing drums on a Tony the Tiger Drum Set at age 8. He played while in the US Navy, and later schooled under Joe Hodges of Maynard Ferguson fame. He came to Charleston in 1998, and has since played with a variety of Charleston bands. He plays drums and sings lead and harmony for THE CUBES.
