Oscar Rivers Trio

Oscar W. Rivers, Jr. is a mainstay on the Jazz Scene in the Low Country of S.C. Whether on piano or saxophone, Oscar is highly recognized as a master at both instruments. His band, Rivers & Co., has played for countless society events in Charleston for decades. Spending more time with his Oscar Rivers Trio, featuring Paul Gelpi on bass and Donald Fields on drums, Oscar plays many Jazz Clubs in Charleston as well as receptions and cocktail parties. The Oscar Rivers Trio may expand with an added saxophonist and either male or female vocalist to suit the event. Oscar is also a well known public music teacher, passing his craft on to thousands of kids and adults.
