Chris Tidestrom
Chris Tidestrom plays... a lot of music. From some old country tunes to songs like "I love rock and roll" and a lot of songs in between. Always with an eye on the audience, to make sure they are enjoying themselves. Plenty of tunes to dance to as well, Chris stays busy on that guitar. Never too loud, though... Chris is one of those "just right" guys who understands that people may wanna talk too, when they listen to good music. Chris has played around Charleston for 3 years now, he came here from Stockholm, Sweden in 2001. Places like Avondale Station (now Triangle Char & Bar), Med Bistro, Sunfire Grill, Coconut Joe's, PLanet Follywood and Morgan Creek Grill are just some of the places who have enjoyed his entertaining style. Knowing most of his songs by heart ensures that he can "feel" the vibes in a way that is hard to do when you spend your time reading lyrics from a paper. And he adjusts his set list after the mood of the audience.
